Following an eight year absence, the Miss America pageant is returning home to Atlantic City. For 84 years Atlantic City hosted the beauty contest and Lt. Governor Kim Guadagno announced this week that the pageant is returning to Atlantic City!

The pageant had previously been held at the Boardwalk Hall but moved to Las Vegas 8 years ago. The city still holds many reminders of the pageant’s years here in Atlantic City, from the Rose Walk on Michigan Avenue to the faces of winners on the wall outside White House Sub Shop.

The city looks forward to the much anticipated return of the pageant and the great image it brings along with the notoriety that accompanies it across the country!
